Pain-Free Torque Release Technique

We use Torque Release Chiropractic at the Yarra Valley Innate Chiropractic Clinics, which is a low-force, gentle type of technique that doesn’t involve any “cracking.” Fear of “cracking” can put some people off seeking a chiropractor so those who are nervous or fearful about getting adjusted will be relieved to know that there is nothing forceful, or painful  about our adjustments.

In Torque Release Technique, an examination of the nerve system is carried out by the use of balance and strength tests to determine how efficiently it is functioning.

Then, with the consent of the patient, the adjustment can begin and the appropriate areas are stimulated in a non-invasive way with a handheld instrument called an integrator.

How the Handheld Instrument Works

The integrator gives a small and painless thrust to the affected nerves to stimulate them to change the way they function and encourage the body to make alterations that contribute to healing.

The Torque Release Technique isn’t as forceful as many traditional chiropractic methods, doesn’t hurt and doesn’t require any “cracking” of joints, making it a more simplistic but effective procedure, popular even with small children, who usually love being adjusted.
